If you are a woman who plays jazz, whether you tinkle the ivories, blow on a bone or croon a tune - you probably know that it can be a tough game. For some reason it feels sometimes like the attitudes of male players never moved on from the bop era! I know its like that for singers, and I would like to know what female instrumentalists think as well.
